With the newer Nehalem platform from Intel is having a storm to all of their favourite guests and buyers who are willing to spend the money load to get this piece of this cold silicone core for the purpose of over clocking and benchmarking glory. As we are going to forget is that the importance of a compatible memory module to accommodate its demand on the DDR3 memory and the triple channel interface. With there is still not any budget/entry level main board to accommodate the Core 7i yet, we can assure the hardware freak of our time will not get disappointed on the performance of the new X58, adding dual crossfire 4870X2’s and one other thing… ah, yes buy a really expensive triple channel kit from Corsair, the dominator TRX series.
Yes, you name it Corsair really added a new and improved Memory kit module that is a DDR3 1600MHz fsb frequency and triple channel interface to go with the new Core 7i system, a whole 6 GB’s of it! Just enough to for the total 4GB from the page file for the graphics and leaves you with just 2GB for all of the normal applications, but a dedicated 4GB’s for the all of your gaming glory is enough to please all but of the hardline people who don’t have the money to match the asking prize. Just over the prize war of the Dominator TRX, going only about $500 in the hammer, that really explains the excessiveness of the Memory, but for the sole purpose of breaking the score records you have in your previous system, or breaking your bank to whatever suits you, this one really hits the spot. With a much thicker heat spreader than the previous dominator and the fins poking out of the modules are if with the right tools be removed, but still having the core principle of the large excessive heat fins and spreaders to remove such massive amount of heat that the Black imposing PCB has, with the specs: 1600MHz fsb, a low standard latency; 7-7-7-21 and also 1.5V stock voltage.
For the performance factor with the Dominator TRX goes with the world benchmarks is a real change to the usual, going with the bigger bandwidth rather than the latency timings, well it has a good timing 7-7-7-21 but the Intel’s X58 chipset is a real problem with the onboard memory chipset does improve in the bandwidth but really has problem using the timings of the triple channel memory, but with the size and the speed of the bandwidth really covers the problem in timings, going with the overall conclusion, great memory module with triple channel plus being an enthusiast kit you can have an overclocking potential and the combo fan in the kit can give it more head room in higher fsb count and if you want, lower timings.
