ASUS once again goes with the review of the deluxe version of the X58 chipset, for some unknown reason that I cannot comprehend is the remake of their own P6T. With the confusion of the P6T deluxe and the OC palm or even the over clocking headroom maybe improved or just added a new component. Some suggestions can be sometimes misleading (this ideas are just in the dark still) but the P6T deluxe V2 of the X58 is an unexpected release.
With the P6T V2, the X58 chipset has no real difference with the rest of the P series from ASUS with some alterations of the SAS configurations of the old board, by scrapping the SAS storage solution. For the reason that with the previous uses in as a business package of the Intel chipset giving it as an alternative if you want to use the board for network workstation or a new faster server. But they already introduced the P6T WS professional to keep the workstation applications and user happy, so they have to make a newer P6T for the normal gaming/media end-users. But this is not the re-invention of the wheel all over again we already know its purpose, so we improved it and added pneumonic tires. With the same as the V2 from ASUS, with just removing something that is going to be a nuisance like the onboard SAS and just keep the RAID alternative plus the bigger head room that we just saw, for a while. In the design of the new P6t deluxe is still similar to the old P6T, with some reduction of the SATA connectors.
With the performance of the P6T deluxe V2 is quite similar to the other P6T in ASUS with the same timings and CPU scores even just over clocking the max to both of the board only give just 1% performance difference, only just the new P6T deluxe got 10MHz more room in the memory frequency. While it have no sudden difference with the older P6T, they both still have the same name but only contrast between them is the SAS onboard chip that controls the hybrid SCSI into a SATA port. But the prize of the V2 is just about the same as the previous but some retailers are going to get confused and give out the older product because they cannot tell the difference of both of the package. ASUS would well have made another series of boards, with the exception of having SAS what about adding an onboard WIFI Network with the rest of the series of the P45 and X38’s. Giving a good bundled item, or they have planned it in the mid-ranged 5500 series.

ASUS V2 is a no brainer to see
