SunbeamTech is not that kind of word to use for your own cooling CPU company and definitely not going to over right the use of the trade mark of the Sunbeam company, well we have heard that it can make real brilliant cooler for most of the day to day computer applications but most used in the more high performance computing that no one is going to set foot on, and yes it is the enterprise boxes of simple offices with all of the wires running around the rooms like a roller coaster. But they make decent customer grade cooler for example this type of cooler the Core-contact freeze.
Since the heat sink and the fan of the Sunbeamtech Core-Contact Freezer cooler are not connected, we are going to talk about them separately. The cooler heat sink sits on four copper heat pipes, each 8mm in diameter. These heat pipes are part of the cooler base: The plates are glued to the heat pipes with thermal glue that is why some of them do not hold as tightly as they could if they were soldered. The heat sink sides aren’t covered with anything that is why some airflow will most likely be lost off the sides of the heat sink: Doubt that this is an issue for a cooling solution, so let’s not stop here and continue with our discussion of the Sunbeamtech Core-Contact Freezer heat sink design. The heat pipes are slightly spread out on leaving the base, which ensures more even distribution of the heat flow over the heat sink array:
Sunbeamtech Core-Contact Freezer is no conjurer and doesn’t belong to the super-cooler team with the highest cooling efficiency. Nevertheless, Sunbeamtech Core-Contact Freezer will undoubtedly find its customers being priced at only $36 and offering very good cooling performance for the buck. The inconvenient retention with limited compatibility is a little upsetting, but we hope the manufacturer will take note of it and fix it in the next cooler modifications. As for the ways of improving the cooling efficiency, we would suggest that the manufacturer tries to allow two fans to be installed onto this cooler heat sink (one for air intake and one for exhaust)
But mostly you would better of some other cooler with a much better prize range as this but we can’t definitely we have to look even closely to find any real problem even produced in this cooler but having to say that is has the same technology as the Xigmatec, we have to safely say that it can be a Xigmatec alterative with the same features the cooler heat pipe is also touching the CPU’s head and with some of it being held of the nickel fillings giving it a better transfer of heat generally. But overall good buying power for this but later check some of the other stores that prize this up.
