With the introduction of customer satisfaction in the middle of the 20th century, warrantees and guarantees are a safe haven to unintentional…. (Cough!)….. Problem in any case hardware, you can get a claim form the company, in my case Seagate, to have my faulty hard drive to be replaced with a new one or to be refunded with the same amount of price when you first bought it. For the default choice in every warrantee is a good replacement of the product you have. With the order form entry placed in the World Wide Web, with a few short moments it is finished mailing my old one to the company, and just waiting for the new batch.
For the record the use of warrantee’s with specific products like TV’s and cars is so important that people are now not negligible to unintentional damage of the product, it can be faulty delivery from the manufacturer or natural wear and tear. In the past, when you buy something you own it right after you bought it, and you cannot run back blaming the guy in the counter that the product is faulty, for now a-days you can do that. But, anyways, the future of warrantee’s can we live without them? Definitely not!
So when the replacement came in, the only discovered that they gave me a replacement that has a sticker that it is a recent faulty HDD, because of its repair sign on it, so I would definitely find out in a few moments it would go out as well. But no, I was wrong; it worked fine when installing the Vista Ultimate, and tried to test this replacement, everything worked fine, with a few games here and a few applications there it is still hold out well, until the dawning test came.
It was the new SISoftsandra Lite edition (Ha…So the hard-drive can’t fall out) with the test on how fast it writes and for a short moment, it came to me, it had just broken the speeding record with the bought out Seagate. Which is a 250GB’s of space 7200.10 (don’t start laughing…Just because you have a bigger HDD when you don’t even use the space at all…You know how hard it is to find apps to fit it all) just below the fastest HDD there is, the new Western Digital Veloci raptor! Very exciting!
With my conclusion saying that replacement Seagate HDD’s are much faster than their bought counterparts, a great plus is where yours is having a problem that is not the work of you. Being my HDD just above all of the mainstream HDD being paying nothing for an upgrade to a faster HDD in a week, is a good bargain, we all love the customer service man.
