With the credit crunch affecting everyone is The US it is time we give the community a hand by having an affordable computer without breaking the bank balance. With computer not being the most impact in the economy, by some degree, but the expenditure is also very important so we manage to get some of the cheaper products with a bang and put them together on what is the best in our degree a $600 dollar computer.

With the use of an:
• Intel Core2 Duo E7200 $133
• A P35 Intel chipset ( so you can go which way with the chipset manufacturer) roughly $100
• A Samsung 500GB’s HDD $93
• Antec NSK6580 $50
• A dell monitors for about $100
• A generic PSU $75
• Also a generic keyboard and mouse set $45
• With a total of about $596 (which I haven’t included the memory, so it goes up to $650 for it)

With the specific choice in products, like the Intel E7200, is that it is a cheaper with good performance CPU with a reasonable price of the same price as the E4600 about $133 in the internet or you can negotiate and place the price low and have some room with others. With the E7200 is the performance of course, but for AMD is not a good choice, yes they do tend to be cheaper but they lag in performance, with the E7200 it has a sensible dual core with 2.6GHz frequency with unlock core multiplier for ease of overclocking to improve a little bit of performance, and still keeps cool with 45nm architecture.

Intel

With the P35, it is a cheaper nowadays and being older but capable is a good thing for a year old chipset, with some board manufacturers, can enable crossfire and with the performance is great all-round, it is not a bad time to buy this chipset.

With Samsung 500GB’s HDD is unusual being Samsung being TV and hi-def makers that they would make an appeal in the computer market, but they do, with Spinpoint 500BG is a good deal with only $90, with a fast read and write and goes with SATAII 3gb/s for an easy way to go 500GBs with speedy writes and reads.

An Antec NSK 6580, that would cost around $50 online, with being Antec you would like their innovations, with the case with a swing HDD case in the bottom with dual 60mm fans and two optical and one floppy drives with a size of to ITX to a full ATX with a good airflow and an uncluttering look in the board gives a thumbs up to me.

With the dell monitor is more on the service of the product, is a good deal with Dell, you can be satisfied with the warrantee on the product and service on it, and for the functionality is not bad and a good fill rate overall, with a good price it is okay to buy.

With other stuff like keyboards and mouse, you can use a generic brand to cut the price. With the computer in the below $600 mark is an okay start with a new or another computer, with the financial problem in the economy, I try to use every cent and performance review to find a better product in the rig you want, if not satisfied, you can mix and match with other products you think is a good buy and cheaper to expand and have a flexibility on your product. So be money wise but having in mind the performance wise, never go in the dead cheap aisle with some products can be often not a good buy.

sorry about the RAM choice, you can just get a low profile RAM for about $50

  1. These days you really don’t have to pay yourself into bankrupt just because you want to play computer games. I think computer gaming is a very cheap hobby compared to many others. With one instrument you can do so many things and so long time without upgrading!
